Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BreadWinner AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal data when you join the BreadWinner waitlist or otherwise interact with this website (the “Site”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
The data controller responsible for your personal data is Matthew Beard, trading as BreadWinner AI, operating as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, or wish to exercise any of your rights, contact us at support@bread-winner-ai.com.
2. What data we collect
- Email address — when you submit the waitlist / “register interest” form.
- Consent record — the fact that, and the date on which, you ticked the consent box.
- Anti-spam data — our signup form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which may collect device and usage information to distinguish humans from bots. This is processed by Google on our behalf.
We do not ask for or store payment details, government IDs, or trading-account credentials on this Site.
3. How we use your data and our lawful basis
- To operate the waitlist and tell you when BreadWinner launches, including early-access and launch-pricing announcements. Lawful basis: your consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- To maintain a record of consent and comply with our legal obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation / legitimate interests.
- To protect the signup form from spam and abuse (via Google reCAPTCHA). Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
We will not use your email to send unrelated marketing, and we will not sell or rent your data to anyone.
4. Who we share your data with
We use trusted third-party providers (“processors”) who handle data on our behalf under contract:
- Email / mailing-list provider — EmailOctopus (a UK-based email marketing provider), who store the waitlist and deliver our emails.
- Spam protection — Google reCAPTCHA (Google LLC), used on our signup form.
- Fonts — Google Fonts (Google LLC), used to display the site’s typography.
- Website hosting — Fasthosts (Fasthosts Internet Limited, a UK-based hosting provider).
- Analytics — none at present.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK/EEA — in particular Google (reCAPTCHA and Fonts), which may process data in the United States. EmailOctopus is UK-based. Where data leaves the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or an adequacy decision.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your waitlist data until the launch campaign is complete and for up to 24 months afterwards, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it — whichever is sooner. Consent records may be kept longer where needed to demonstrate compliance.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to our processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out).
To exercise any of these rights, email support@bread-winner-ai.com.
8. Unsubscribing
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from the waitlist. You can also ask us to remove you at any time by emailing support@bread-winner-ai.com.
9. Cookies and analytics
This Site uses only the storage necessary for it to function. Our signup form loads Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection, which may set cookies or similar identifiers from Google. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. [If you later add analytics or marketing cookies, describe them here and add a cookie-consent banner.]
10. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
12. Not financial advice
BreadWinner is trading software. Nothing on this Site is financial, investment or trading advice, and we are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Trading leveraged FX carries a significant risk of loss.
